Response to a listing on Craigslist. Said in a text that he was from Pennsylvania.

Hi i just got a texter from that number saying the same thing and wanting to by a car off me from craigslist. should i not trust it?

what did he want to buy off you?

I got a call from the same person, he is a man asked for buying my car. and he mentioned that he will mail me a cashier check. Should I sell the car for him?

How does he plan to get the car from you to him?  He is buying it sight unseen with no test drive?  Doesn't that make you wonder if something is wrong about him?  I bet he wants to use someone else to pick up the car for him and will send extra money in the check for you to send to the pick up person via Western Union.  Only what will happen is that after you cash his check and wire the money to the pick up person, they will never show up and then your bank will tell you the check is a fake and you will have been scammed out of the money you wired and have a returned check fee to pay to the bank.  I would never sell a car to someone who does not want to see it in person before buying it.
