caller said "hi, (my name)?" waited for me to respond yes. " This is stephanie with" and then the line goes dead. Very very sketchy and scary.

Have received several calls from this number, and many other unknown numbers, since I made insurance inquiries on the web. Obviously, one of the insurers sells their call lists. Wish I knew which one, so I could complain! I don't answer unfamiliar numbers, so good luck with that!

Scam/spam/spoof

Called me this morning at 9:05 and didn't leave a message. I normally don't answer unfamiliar numbers. For some reason, my number gets calls like this all the time. I'm thinking of changing my number. I have a call blocker, but these... people somehow find a way around it. Very annoying.
