Attempted to buy an item I had advertised on Craigslist. Said he could have a certified bank check mailed to me first day priority mail and I would have the cash the next day. He went on to say he could send a company to pick up my item after I had received the cash. He was going by the name Davis.

What happened?  Was he a legit buyer?

same exact thing happened to me, word for word from this same number.  thanks for the warning.

Same deal with me... got a text but no response when I responded back.... assumed it was a scam.
