Same thing here. The guy I spoke to was an absolute jerk and said this debt was from just a couple of years ago but I haven't gone by that name since 2001!

Just received a call from this number right after I did not answer a call from a known portfolio recovery number. I think it might be portfolio again but cannot find anybody reporting this. Any ideas?

Yep, probably CRA. Don't answer unless it's someone you know. They mean you no good.

I just got a call from some rude jerk who hung up on me from this number. Dont answer any of their questions! I logged into my cell phone account and blocked his number...cell phone companies do offer that service.

I got a call from this number on my cell also and they left a rude, threatening message. I blocked them through the cell company as well. They left no information about why they were calling, just that they needed to know what was going on!
