For the past 2 weeks we get calls from this no. at least twice a day.  On the answering machine it says "Sears Roebuck &".  I think the "Roebuck" name has not been a part of the Sears brand for a number of years.  They hang up as soon as our answering machine message begins.

Called all day yesterday, starting at 8:00 AM until almost 9:00 PM. Says Sears Roebuck.

Caller said my refrigerator warrant wad expiring. Wanted me to give her a credit card to update the warranty. I told her to send me a bill. She  NEVER asked to verify my address in her "file."

Many calls from this number today.  Answered a call this evening- a lady said she was from "Sears Roebuck" and that my fridge warranty was expiring and asked for my credit card number to extend it.  Funny thing is I don't have any appliances from Sears.  She hung up pretty quickly when I told her that.  This is a scam, if the use of the "Sears Roebuck" wasn't a big enough clue.
