This person tried a rental scam where they posted a house that is for sale currently as for rent on craigslist.  They then wanted me to send them the first months rent and a security deposit so they could mail me the documents ( what I don't know) and the keys.... I called weichert with whom it is listed and they verified it is still for sale.  I also looked it up on the county tax website and it is listed as being owned by someone else...not the name of the person who contacted me about renting it.  They then reduced the amount to $250 as that is what it was going to cost them to send the keys!  Ridiculous - be careful.  

Yes, I got the same story yesterday with this person who is self-called Terry Englund, In the beginning it seems real a renting but when he was asking for payment so he would ship me the key and house documents, I realized immediately it was a cheater.

Its ILLEGAL to ask for money to receive it.
