When I answered the phone, the woman calling said that she wanted to speak with the head of the household. I said that I was the head of the household. She spoke really fast, but I was able to hear that she was working with raising money for breast cancer. After several attempts at trying to interrupt her, I finally spoke very loudly telling her that I was unable to donate because I was still paying hospital bills for my husband, who had died from cancer. Well, she informed me that she should put me down for donating at a lower level (i.e. $15). I said that you did not hear me, I do not have money to donate because I was paying. . . (at this point I listed all of the hospitals and cancer centers that I had to pay off for my late husband). She acted as if she didn't hear me, and she said that she wished me a good day. No, sorry for your loss or anything.
