I noticed the first couple people were from Mass. I am from Fall River. Is this a Mass thing? Just curious as it does not make a difference. I have gotten six 800 type calls today on my business phone and I am trying to work. I do not answer but I have to turn machines off and stop to check it out. It is aggravating.

Also from Mass., rec'd this same call about "lowering interest rate." Verizon Wireless has a blocking feature, I plan to add this no. to the list.

DNC states you must tell the caller not to call you prior to a report. Once the caller has been notified not to call again and they do, then they are in violation.

The number calling my home is 864-000-1455 and I pick it up and hang it up. Sick of the calls, especially when you have someone sick in the home. Wakes a person up, what if you worked the night shift? You would never get any rest. Something has to be done. I was told to call consumer affairs, well I emailed them, no good. Thanks, Kay
