Thanks for the info. I called Apple and they knew nothing about this. The website was set up at the end of November. I kinda figured it is a hoax.

Got a text in the middle of the night, in the same time zone where this number supposedly originates, about testing a new iPad 3. The website it refers to has nothing to do with Apple. Will call this number from work to test it out.

The website looked sketchy. When I went to click out of the tab a pop up appeared asking if I wanted to leave, like all sketchy websites do. I read the fine print and it said something about a credit card being activated and transfering money to it to happen.

Just got a text message from this number about a free iPad 3...I don't think is for real so I deleted it. Who knows it might be a hacker. Watch out for those. Take care ;)

Just got a text from 18622285683. Took a look at the website they gave, and it would seem to be the spam I expected. I'm on the DNC List, but we all know how much that's worth.
