Have lost count of how many times Man With Accent has phoned on behalf of his supervisor, Charles, for the same manager from a wide range of numbers: 973-803-4377 through 4389.  Today he called from 862-204-3348.  He claims that his boss will divulge the purpose upon being connected.  Sorry, but we don't make transfers under those circumstances.  No form of discouragement -- telling him off, sending him to Purchasing / fax machine / unassigned voicemail, etc. -- seems to work.
