I just got the same call and he gave me a case number of IR7416 and when I called the number was not in service

This a scam call saying it is the IRS. Having worked in the tax and accounting world for over 35 years I can tell you the IRS doesn't contact taxpayers via an automated phone call, but by US mail. It is a scam, don't give any info to these frauds.

I got two calls from them yesterday. They left voicemail both times indicating that both I and my physical property were being monitored and there was an IRS warrant issued for my arrest and action would be taken unless I called them back.

I received the same threat with the same file numbers listed in the other comments. SCAM. Should be shut down stop trying to scare hard working people with threats of jail and garnishments and taking our homes and vehicles this is not the irs as they state
