Called my cell...I don't answer calls I don't know.

No message. Caller I.D. says Willimantic, CT. It's Labor Day. Don't these freaking people take a day off?

They called bright and early on Labor Day.  No message was left.  They won't get through from this same number again. I love the call blocking feature on my cell phone. :)

Same, no message.  They called twice today.
It does absolutely no good to block these calls.

I created ZZZ as a contact and programmed it with a silent ringtone. Whenever I get a questionable call, I do not answer it I save the phone number into ZZZ.  This way, if they call again, I see ZZZ on my display and know not to answer it.

This list was started over two years ago and I now have over 280 entries in ZZZ.  I never see ZZZ on my phone display unless it is the extremely rare legitimate call wanting a donation for a cause.  This proves that blocking these calls is worthless.  They have software that changes the caller ID of the call you receive.  Can you imagine your situation if an obscene caller that gets hold of this technology?  There would be no traceability. Write your congress people, they are actually working on this.

I suspect that if you actually talk to someone, do not harass as it will assure that your phone number is distributed out of spite.

NEVER answer, even worse respond to, a number you do not recognize.  Same as using the Unsubscribe for E-Mail, you are letting someone know that your phone number is a working number and they sell it to advertisers.

Here is a scary thought: What if this site right here is collecting information on people who report questionable numbers? Just because there is no conspiracy doesn’t mean that they are not out to get you.

Just don't answer numbers you do not recognize.  If it is important, they can leave a message.
