SCAM...PHONE JERK MONKEYS

This call is a scam call from credit card company.

The recent regulation restrict the credit card company to increase the interest rate of credit card. This scam phone call is from people / customer service paid by credit card company that sort of offer/inform us to lower interest rate in our card. The problem is this message is only a recording machine or 800# that most people will not answer. Basically this scam is forcing the credit card holders to "OPT OUT" their right to lower the interest rate on their credit cards.

I try to call back, the customer service is hang up because they just have our phone number not the whole customer service that have access computer to cardholder credit card information.

They basically just answering phone service that got paid to call the whole bunch of cardholders phone numbers.

Please call your legislator !!

I recieved a call from a Gene Smith who said he was with a co called associated recovery, the name that came up on the caller ID was RC Trucking Me Ssmit said he was collecting on a debt and has had the debt. to collect for two years. I replied I had not recieved any letter on this debt and ask for him to send me the information and I would look it over and see what it is about, he replied that he would have there attorney send a letter on this matter. I do not know weather the call is legit or not, and if calling under a false name is legal to collect on a debt. I assume it is probably a scam and if it is once the info is sent through the mail it falls under federal jurisdiction.
