I received a similar message from this person claiming to be Danny Hooper, who owns an are gallery in London.
He promised to pay me $500 a week to carry out clerical functions.  Mailing packages with money to different people.  I thought that this might be a scam so I did a search and found out that others have received similar offers.
The real Danny Hooper owns a production company and is an entertainer.
How can we stop this dishonest person from taking advantage of innocent people?

he is now using the name of John Edwards and phone number is for someone in kentucky

sorry his last name is edward no s and suppose to be back in the country in  October. what I don't understand he doesn't ask for any personal info or at least I didn't give him any

My boyfriend had received an email from John Edward and it claims he got my boyfriends information when he signed up for unemployment. He states he owns an art gallery in London, and that he needs an assistant to do varies jobs for him. IE mail things, make payments on his behalf and such. However he did send a check to us and it has alot of red flags. Such as there are 4 people listed in the paper work, Last name is spelled wrong. I am taking to the bank and having them look at it. Will fill out appropriate paper work. Hopefully they can figure out who this really is and stop this before someone winds up out of a lot of money.

same # now he's using the name jeffery perry.
