Individual called asking for the owner of the business.  I asked for the companies information but caller was evasive and simply gave a name and again asked for the owner of the business.  I again tried to get more information from the caller but was asked if I was the owner.  I stated that "this must be a telemarketing call so do not call again".  Let's see if that works.

Same thing here when I received the call from the same number.  I think it is a spam call.

Time to sue?

I read an article on the things you need to know to sue these guys
(mag is called 2600, available at any book store).

record the call (if possible)
the time, the names,
primary: ACT LIKE YOU WANT TO BUY THEIR PRODUCT
this sucks them in to giving all that info away.

get names like the CIO, phone number, address, email, web site - everything.

then say you want to think about it, and call them back.
that makes them rethink, and give you real info (up to now, it was phoney).

this can be fun and challenging.
and profitable.
it does not cost all that much to take them to court (in your district).

make the calls work in your favour!
