The man identified himself as working for the corporate office of Merchant Services in San Diego, CA. He called my business number and knew my name and business name (probably got it from an online directory). He asked me if I received some information in the mail from Merchant Services. He had my business's old address, so I didn't receive anything. I told him that I don't use Merchant Services for taking credit card information. He insisted that if I'm taking credit cards for my business then I must be using Merchant Services. I knew this was false because I don't have a merchant services account. I told him again that I'm not using his services. He repeated the same thing over and over. I don't know what information he wanted from me to complete his scam because I did not receive what he sent in the mail--and I did not give him my new business address. Please beware of this caller.
