Said they were customer service. I hung up. I was expecting a call otherwise I wouldn't have answered it.

Called. Left no message.. I called back and recording picked up "Welcome to the Verizon national payment center". I don't have Verizon. I called back several times and now its constantly busy. Called back again and I get Verizon. May be  spoofed/forwarded number. I smell Debt collector or scam trickery

Been calling for a few days, three or more times a day. And actually called my cell phone too once.  No message left. Caller id just says out of area. I'm adding them to my many blocked calls.

Called my wife's phone said they ere Verizon anting a payment on our phone bill, we don't have  Verizon hahaha. Scammers

I just got a call from this number as well.  I do have Verizon cellphone service, but my account is up to date, nothing owing - and certainly nothing past due!  I called Verizon to check on this, and they confirmed that this is NOT from them.  Also, they never call from "Verizon national payment center" - the Verizon guy said they never refer to themselves that way.
