Call was a hang up call.  It came about an hour after another hang up call with the 518 504 0993,  very odd that the prefix or switch number on both is 504.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know.  If someone wants to contact me they can leave me a message.

Just got a call from this number on my cell.  I don't answer the phone for numbers that I don't recognize.  They can leave a voice mail.  I don't even know how whoever this is got my cell number as only friends and family have it and I never give it out to anyone else.  No message was left.  I blocked the number from calling again.

If the caller did not leave a voicemail mentioning your name, then it is probable the caller does not know your name, and was just autodialing all possible numbers in your "area code + exchange" - that would be 10,000 numbers - to see who answers the phone before the voicemail takes over.

I've had a similar experience. A cellphone call with no voice message left. I suspect it's a telemarketer based on the comments of others.

I keep getting calls from numbers that start with +1 (857) 504, they call at 6am and it's very frustrating. I block them every time but then a week or so later it's another number with the same first digits
