I also received a note with a message from Steve Rubin today.  My name on the note was handwritten and the body of the letter photo copied.  My name and address on the envelope was handwritten as well.  Don't know exactly the purpose of this scam but I kept the contents and envelope and I will look to see what steps can be taken to find out more information on this person.

Some wierd letter came in my mail box addressed to my wife with an urgent message to call steve ruben I have been trying to reach you please call me. I called and left a message.

I got the same weird letter in the mail.  It had my first name, but my boyfriends last name, we are not married.  There is no return address.  Have you heard anything back because it seems pretty sketchy to me?

Gibbsboro, NJ 08026 it's from:  i googled the meter post mark.  i received the same urgent pink message note with nothing on it except to call, steve rubin has been trying to reach me.  it's in the trash-just ignore it, some scam no doubt!

I just got the same letter today in the mail. It was hand written addressed to me with no return address. Inside the envelope was a pink "important message" note telling me that he has been trying to reach me and that I should call him back.
Blow me, Steve. You spelled my name wrong on the envelope and your hand writing is poor.
