Got a call from this number asking for Doris. No one by that name lives here so I said you have the wrong number. The man said he had the right number and then started saying he was from some police organization (said it so fast I couldn't get the name) and was collecting donations. I said no. He got arrogant and insisted I could give something. I said no. He hung up. Strange how this number is from a NJ landline and I live in PA. Why would Camden Police be soliciting funds from people living in another state?

I too just received a call from # 856-831-7852 SCAM written all over it.
Fast talker couldn't even catch what "police dept" (wink wink) he said he was from ....
I replied just as fast and over him...."I do not donate over the phone goodbye" and
clicked him off.

Got a call from this person two minutes ago. He has called before from different numbers and I have blocked them. He is clearly calling from spoofed numbers. Do not waste a minute of your time with this person. He has been calling my number for months and always says the same thing. "Is --- there? Hello? Are you there?" He still does not realize that he is talking to an answering machine. I just reported the number to the Do Not Call Complaint line. Maybe if enough people do so, it will force this loser to get a life.

Iwas told at the local police precinct, that the police never asks for donations and it is a scam.
