"Joseph Jacobs" with SRS & Associates left me a voicemail to make "a decision on a disposition related to an issue with much ambiguity and depending on my response will determine if it will be made amicably based on me proactively reaching his office for a predacated debt lossage". He left the return number of 866-696-4188 and said "good luck" to me.  Talk about a lot of big words.  He was very smug and obviously trying to scare me.

my father bounced a check and it was entered into this companies computer along with my cell phone number. I don't live with my father and we don't even live in the same town. I had not even known they had my number until I received a call from them since then I have received harassing phone calls about my father's debt and when I try to speak to a manager or file a complaint about the VERY disrespectful manner I am being addressed for something I have nothing to do with I am literally screamed at how dumb I am and how I need to speak with my father. My life has become a living hell filled with these phone calls, if someone could tell me how to stop them please do, they won't remove my number from the file.

I do apologize for the way you were treated.  The situation from my point of view is that you should not have been treated inhumanely.

My suggestion is to have your father contact the office and ask for me by name.  I DO work for SRS and Associates as the Director of the Partial Payment Department, and would rather help him resolve this than have the client enforce remedy to a situation which could balloon.
