Thanks to the information and comments on this site, I know NOT to call this number back.
I really appreciate this "800 notes" resource. I'm sure it's saving a lot of people a lot of grief.
I agree with JR who posted on Jan. 13, 2009 that this is a national problem, that vulnerable people are being damaged, and that it's going to take a national legislative and/or law enforcement approach to control it. Which means that we as citizens need to press our local consumer advocate offices and attorney general's offices to take coordinated action.
