I posted furniture on Craigslist and this person texted me this:
"I need your full name and address.Am paying by money order,will add $50 for keeping it for me."

Seems fishy

Craigslist & Kijiji are social media selling sites. Person - to - person. It isn't eBay. You post something, they come & look at it (in the flesh, so to speak), they give you cash & then carry. Just put 'No checks, No Paypal, No text, in person' in your next ad. Cuts through the dead wood.

Posted some audio stuff. I just had the same result as you. Straws..was his name..Want to send me 50 + 50..then send me a bigger check . Looks like a scam.

I got the same thing today...first he asks if the merchandise is still available...then he asks for my name and address to sent me payment.   I already called him out and I thought this was a scam...He said it wasn't but now that I am reading this...It's obvious its a scam....you don't do this a zillion times if you are a legitimate buyer.
