Recieved an email from "Bank of Marion" saying my account was suspended and I needed to call this number back to reactivate my account.  Except I've never heard of this bank ever before.  I called the number and its a phoney answering service with only one button prompt that directs you to enter a credit card number.

I received one exactly the same from "North Island Credit Union."  Same phone number, 856-457-4388.  Emailed from "suspended@myisland.com"

Got an email from North Island Credit Union as well.
Anyone notice the typos?  Says update, should be updated. Says temporary, should be temporarily. And "please call urgent"? Definite scam.

I got the same e-mail. We know its a scam but what can we do about it. Would love to see this guy prosecuted.

This is a phishing scam.  The number is provided by Level 3 communications in NJ.  Problem is they provide IP (internet based phone service so no physical address required) Toll Free service, so most likely the number was paid for with a stolen credit card, and most likely wont be caught.
