This number called our business today at 1032 hours.  Caller ID said "Clementon NJ" so I knew there was a 99% chance it was yet another scam artist.  I picked up the receiver slightly and put it right back down again.  Then I blocked my number and called it.  Sure enough, a recording picked up immediately, telling me that if I want to be put on their do-not-call list to press 9.  I knew that was b.s. because I had blocked my number and scam artists don't care if you don't want them to call.  Plus the number is VoIP, a prime tool for scam artists around the world, and the owner's information is blocked "for privacy reasons," (i.e. it's a scam artist who doesn't want the law to be able to track him/her down.)

Whenever you get a call from US Pharmacy or Canadian Online Pharmacy trying to sell you Viagra or Cialis, keep them on the phone for as long as you can. Tell them that you want to buy 500 or 1000 tablets. Keep them talking for as long as you can. Make up all kinds of stupid questions such as, asking them what color the tablets are or what shape they are. Just plain stupid questions. Then when they ask for your credit card number, tell them that you really didn't have any intentions of buying anything. Tell them that you just wanted to keep them on the phone so that they weren't bothering anybody else. They get SOOO MADDD because they're wasting their time and not making any money. After a while, the calls become less and less. Doing this is so entertaining.
The phone companies refuse to do anything about this because they’re making money from these companies. And, The FCC & FTC are USELESS government organizations with no ability to make these calls stop. And, the “Do Not Call” list is a joke.

The only way the government can shut them down is to get red of the on line spoofing companies, who just tell you the spoofing calls are meant for fun. Right. Every scammer in the world uses spoofing to make the phone number look like it is coming from somewhere else.

Those low life scums are mining the phone numbers on the Do Not Call registry and using them for their scamming appetites. I wish someone invents a phone that dials back without stopping, when you know that it's a scam and press a dial back button.
