It was difficult to understand everything he was saying because of language barrier but I got that the call was about my computer/Windows sending an error message/crash report.  First of all, he called my house number that we never give out to anyone but family ~ so if it really was about Windows crash report - it would have been our cell number given.  Secondly, my husband doesn't send crash reports, he just closes the message box.  Not sure what he really wanted, but politely thanked him for his information and I would take my computer to someone locally to get looked at then hung up the phone.

A man called our landline today and I had difficulty understanding his English but he claimed to be from Microsoft. He wanted me to go to my computer and said he would to be able to make it safe from some virus attacks. I told him I had no reason to believe that he was calling on behalf of Microsoft. I asked for proof that he represented Microsoft.Then he started giving me another number but hung up as I was writing and repeating the numbers. That number might have been 858-385-7844  or 7846.

Called difficult to understand.
I told him it was a scam and to please not call this number again.  He told me I should not argue with him.  I was not interested in what he had to say.
I asked where he was located, who he worked for and where was he located.  He just kept telling me to not argue with him.  'You will be sorry. '. 'I will teach you a lesson.'
I repeated my questions multiple times.  He kept up with 'do not argue with me, you will be sorry.'
Reported number to authorities.

IT WAS THE Head [***], From THE [***] HOTLINE CALLING!

Received a call from "william" he said he was from e support and was calling about my computer.  I knew it was a scam and hung up on him
