As you all know, most of these solicitations are complete scams. This one is a little tricky because there is an element of truth. You can see on the NJFOP website that they did contract with a private telemarketing firm "Corporations for Character". But it's one of those deals where nearly all the money goes to the collection firm and only a small percentage goes to FOP. The guy above, "Snow", is likely one of the telemarketers, who was never a police officer, and pockets a nice percentage of your "donation" as his compensation.

I think it was poor judgement for the NJFOP to affiliate with these guys.

It's from FOP, but they are not allowed to solicit...do not give them any money - who knows who they really are.
