Same message as lt.
I received my call on monday, 21 march, 2016 @11:57 am california time.
For more than 10 years, i have always had at least 4 different call blocking software installed on my cellphone (1: advanced call blocker, 2: call control-call blocker, 3: extreme call blocker pro $4.99, 4: true caller) and this is the very first time that a caller whose area code is blocked was able to "breach" all 4 call blocking software, ring through and leave a voicemail message. Amazing!
I'm beginning to wonder if this caller is using some type of unusual, special calling equipment other than your normal telephone calling equipment such as a auto/robo dialer.
I did notice highly unusual as my cellphone was ringing, the name on the caller id continued to change with each ring.
On the first ring, the caller id showed "856-295-0044 camden nj"
on the second ring, the caller id showed "- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"
on the third ring, the caller id showed "unavailable"
on the fourth ring, the caller id showed "us treas"
the caller id name continued to repeat and change until the call went to voicemail.
Below is a copy of the received voicemail to text.
"this is david gray united states treasury department intending to serious attention. Ignoring this urgent message will be an intentional second attempt to avoid appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 856-295-0044. I repeat it's 856-295-0044. I'd like you to call us immediately and help us to help you. Thank you"
why isn't there a "scam" option in the "call type" drop down list?
I suppose before this day is out that many more messages will be posted.
