I received a call a few minutes ago from this number insisting that I call to avoid action in a magistrates court. Wasn't difficult to figure out this was a scam, but I'll help in any way possible in tracking down these crooks.

GUYS WE HAVE CLASS ACTION WE HAVE RIGHTS WHO IS WITH ME?

Just got a call just like the above from dept of treasury...sounds like a call center..something about legal action and taxes.

They can't be tracked.  Callers are located in India and Pakistan.  As such they are beyond anyone's reach.  Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

Not possible.  Scammers are hard core Indian and Pakistani scammer/extortionists and as such beyond the reach of US law.  Occasionally money mules in the US are arrested, but the bulk of the scammers are overaseas.   Invest in a
call blocker and do NOT pick up on numbers you do NOT recognize.
