Checked out my first call from this number and heard the Magic Jack recording. In the past, "Matthew" from supposedly 1) John Wiley & Sons, 2) Microsoft, and 3) Staples claimed to be returning various managers' calls. He wouldn't leave a number, saying he'd phone back. Then an unnamed person, allegedly from UPS, had a package for a non-existent employee. Today's episode, however, was the winner. Another man or the same (all with an Indian accent) requested a specific manager. I asked what the call was in reference to. He wanted to know whether the manager was here. I reiterated my question. He said, "You tell me if he's there, and then I'll tell you what it's about." I replied, "Sorry, that's not how it works," and slammed the receiver down. And now on to the next annoying number complaint.
