We have received 6 phone calls, stating that they were from the IRS, since 06/21//16 and just received another one today. Please tell me , how to stop this.

I had a call just now  voice recorded saying they were the IRS and repeated code nuumbers.. I am so sick of this last week it was from a 206 area code saying it was the IRS sueing me for back taxes.

I tell them that they are on a recorded line.  Other things to say i sthat you are special agent for fbi with phone to attract calls that might be illegal.  I ask for street address so that we can see face to face.  Get a supervisors name and ask for a callback number.  Remind them that as fbi sa yoiu are completely aware that first contact from irs for tax fraud is personal visit, not a phone call.

Called today,Same M.O.! Did receive call last month, different number, same message. Im in Texas. Just ignore, block this scammer!!

Received 2 calls, called back, couldn't understand what this lady was saying, she got mad and transferred me to another person, this guy told me to get a piece of paper to write something down.  I kept asking him, what was this regarding....he kept mumbling...still couldn't understand his very thick accent.....then he got tired and hang up on me!!  This people need to get a REAL JOB and stop trying to scam people.
