They called on the landline and the number was so near to my own that I knew it was a scam and didn't answer. Little bit later they called on the cell phone using this number on the caller ID.

None of these numbers are valid numbers. They make them up and set them to show up on the caller ID.

I wish everybody in this country would get on board with a caller ID and refuse to answer ANY call that does not show legitimately who it is that's calling.

It seems like if these POS's would realize everybody is on to them they'd get off their lazy rear ends and find a real job. But as long as "ignorant" people continue to fall for it, they'll never go away. How do we take the ignorance out of the equation? Maybe our media should start making a big deal of it.

The 4 main cable news channels should get to work on it. They might save a lot of heartache for people who are unaware... and that is likely to be elderly. I'm 73 so don't shoot me, but I believe the chosen channel for most elderly will be Fox News... so if Fox is listening... get on this and help your viewers. After all, they help you with your ratings.

But it wouldn't hurt for my choice, MSNBC to work on it either. We have an 80 year old and a 73 year old here who loves Rachel and tries not to miss her shows. C'mon, Rachel! Do a show on this. And thanks in advance.

First time they called me and they left no voicemail.
The second time they called me they hung up on me without saying a word.

Calls often, unknown name, don't answer, never leaves message.

there is no one on the line because of the automation they use.  you answer and the call is rolled to an available telemarketer.  sometimes the equipment is slow, sometimes no one available to scam you.

They called again , after being asked to not call in January, they are crooks and they know it, no reason to be nice to these scammers, they are out to empty your bank account.
