Same old scammer story, same old scammer song and dance. This liar claimed to be from the IRS, and if I didn't pay them the money I owed them, that they would come and put me in jail. I told them that I work for the real IRS and now have their number. That their local authorities will find out where they are and shut down their scam. That person gasped in horror and immediately hung up the phone. LOLOLOLOLOL. Fake call from phone con artists. Folks don't fall for anything these scammers have to say. I did report their number to the local authorities in the Florida panhandle that area code represents. I really did used to work for the IRS in Atlanta, but I'm retired now. Listen folks, the real IRS will NOT call you. They will send you a letter informing you of money you owe and why you owe that money. If in doubt when you get a scammer call, just obtain the REAL phone number of the IRS by going to www.IRS.gov. Go to the contact section of the website. Find that number and call the real IRS. Tell them what that scammer said. Report that number. Let them take it from there. Have a great day everyone, and if you're reading this and in doubt about the legitimacy of this scammer call, just laugh it off, report the number, them block them.
