scam, linked to "mystery shopper" services. pay you $300 and send you a $2950 check with details on how to deposit the check into your account then withdraw 'x' amount of money, buy green dot cards and send them the numbers and or western union them to Indianapolis, IN.

Secret Shopper / Shoppers Inc - Thomas Moore.  Sends a check for $3150 and requests to by 3 $900  money orders from USPS and evaluate the service received.  The "cashier's checks" are stolen and the bank in Murray KY will not honor them...  BEWARE -- A LinkedIn member send me the link to register.

I got the exact same thing. Someone on Linkedin referred and I believed it as the linkedin member had 15k followers and also great reviews. I even confirmed it with him thru a Linkedin message. He confirmed saying it is legit. I gave my original address and phone numbers and even received the cheques. But thats when it appeared fake. The company name is not what is out there on the web. Needed to evaluate USPS and get 5 money orders. Ridiculous. Feeling ashamed to have fallen for this. I am also reporting the Linkedin guy. His profile now says that his account has been hacked ..blah blah....
