Called and didn't leave message. Returned the call and the phone number wasn't in service anymore

Got the same thing at 9:30 at NIGHT, what's up with that and why aren't they leaving a message. Called it back, "welcome to verizon wireless, you're call cannot be completed as dialed".

That's a sure sign this is s spoofed number. You see, no area code or prefix in the US or Canada begins with a 1 or a 0 so if you see such a number on the caller ID, don't bother answering.
