I found this number (which came up on the caller ID as Ebsco Telservice) to be really weird.  They called a number belonging to a relative of mine whom I have never lived with or shared a phone number with, we do have the same last name though.  The called this relative multiple times, during both day and night.  This relative of mine does not answer numbers that they don't recognize, but after the number called 10+ times in the span of only a few days they thought it might be someone who actually knew them.  When they answered the phone the person on the other end asked for me, but by a nickname and not by my legal name or the name that is on any official papers concerning me (driver's license, bills, school enrollment, etc.).  When the relative told them that I wasn't there (they didn't say I didn't live there) the person on the other end immediately hung up.  This is very weird to me, and I'm very curious as to what they wanted.  Later today I'll go to a payphone and call this number and see if I can find out anything, but I don't want to call from my phone as I don't want them to know my current number.  If I find anything out, I'll put up another response to tell about it.
