Texas number, no voice interaction, Number more than likely spoofed. no need to entertain this convict.

Repeated scam caller that calls every year  just before or around tax season  what their game is that they get you on the phone and prob you for your indentity and other personal info then theyuse that to file tax returns using your personal info and pocket hundreds of thousands of $$ from stupid people!  By filing returns in  your names... And having the money sent to them.  Its a over seas scam to finance drug deals and militarys on your  hard earned bucks!

Called us 01/0/17 at 5:38PM; no one home.  Caller ID said "TAX HELP CENTER".  ILLEGAL pre-recorded msg left, likely started playing while our outgoing message was playing:

".....IRS Tax Dept Relief Program. The fresh start initiative that can save you thousands, even tens of thousands, reducing the taxes you owe by up to 75%. Press 1 NOW to get qualified before these programs end. This is our last attempt to contact you regarding this National Tax Reduction Program. Press 1 now to avoid your wages being garnished or bank accts levied by the IRS. These programs expire soon & are only eligible for consumers who owe more than $10,000 in tax debt. Press 3 if you choose to be passed up by this program and lose your position in this National Tax Relief Program or have been contacted in error and want to be removed from consideration."

Very unprofessional-sounding woman's voice, American accent.  Very rushed recording with hesitations, mis-steps and swallows in the middle!  Sounds like a amateur recording on a tape player or VM.   VARIATION on the IRS FRAUD SCAM where they claim to be coming to arrest you or a warrant has been issued for your arrest..  Note the "Program" name changes within the message itself!  Its both the "Tax Reduction" and "Tax Relief" Program!  The program is 'eligible'?  NO!  PEOPLE are eligible, Programs are 'available', 'offered for' or are 'provided or intended for' the people who 'qualify' or 'are eligible.'  SCAM!  And a poorly written and executed one, at that!
