"Pay your bills and you wont receive calls."

That's the biggest lie in the book. Even people who pay every bill on time get these calls. That's why they're called SCAMS.

This is spam. They are trying to get you to give out personal information to steal your money and identity. The woman, who only identified herself as Ms. Hollins, became very irate when I tried to get invoice numbers out of her. I was genuinely trying to be helpful, and she was nothing but rude (even commented on my breathing! ...I'm a petite, healthy woman who doesn't breathe heavily.) Claims we haven't paid for some office supplies, which just isn't a case. Don't give away account information to someone using rude scare tactics.

Not sure about a scam, more of a collections agency.  Called my store demanding to talk to someone that could pay an invoice.  I explained to her that the owner/accounts payable is out of the country (which is 100% legit, not a lie) and provided the email address to the accounts payable.  Like Unimpressed said, she became very irate that no one has returned her calls and continued to demand to speak to someone about the invoice.  I continued to tell her that there was no one she could talk to.  Eventually I hung up on her, and she called back under a blocked/private number and berated my co-worker for my unprofessional attitude.  Forgive me if refusing to be harassed is unprofessional.
