Yes! I think you've got it. I made the mistake of picking up, seeing it was from my area code. They hung up when I answered. Called the number back. They had my name, said they were collecting a debt. Wanted my address. Hard to hear dude. I hung up & blocked #.
I think they test #s for creditors. Clever. Anybody else owe Comenity??

Got a call from these people, and it was an 818 number, caller location: "Los Angeles". 818 is an area code for the San Fernando Valley and LA is 213/310. They left no message. Blocked.

Left no message. Just another scam.
