I do not know what country these "LOCAL CALL" idiots are from, but they do not understand the concept of the USA area code. I have received 5 phone calls since 9/29/14 with the caller id "LOCAL CALL" OR "LOCAL CALL AREA". These #'s (so far) are: 415-363-9736, 323-238-3099, 818-824-6346, and 323-238-3063.

The # of the day is... 510-201-5516.

yes , a new guy calling my number , hello ..... hello .... are you there? ....  can somebody tell this person to get a job? or ... of course.... this is his job . just ignore him .

Just moved to Texas from another state and got a new landline installed.  Someone called from 818-824-6346 and asked for Yon. No one here by that name, so I said he had the wrong number. He said he had the right number, just the wrong name, and proceeded to tell me he was a paid solicitor raising money. It had something to do with supporting the police, but it was a bit vague. I said I wanted to look them up online, but he just kept trying to tell me how important it was to support these "training programs" and such.  I hung up and blocked the call. Even IF it is a legitimate charity, I know that a chunk of funds raised (if not all) would be going to whatever entity is doing the fund raising. I'm betting it is a scam.
