Received 5 calls, 2xs in 1 day, left VM stating they were the office of treasury and I would need a lawyer to call them if I did not return the call immediately since I may be involved with some type of fraud or felony. Never called and looked up number here to find almost exact same issues- strang foreign mans voice you could hardly understand and states have a blessed day and god bless each time he leaves a message. Hello- obviously has never heard of the separation of church and state clause.

I was looking at that also, apperently is just a SCAM, they called us several times and each time they have a diferent number....

just got that call today.  Foreign voice, almost sounds like the guy is from India.  Claiming to be from the Office of Treasury.  Just hang up or threaten the [***]!

Same thing for me as others. Indian accent, Los Angeles ph# according to Google. Claimed to be US Treasury, sounded surprised when I told him he was calling from a Los Angeles ph#, but then claimed he was in the Los Angeles Treasury office. Obviously a call center from the background noise, but he denied it. He actually wanted to speak to my wife, but I told him we would not respond to anything without written documentation. He then said fine, if I wasn't going to cooperate he would start legal action in 45 minutes. When I pushed him for what the action was about, he refused to tell me since I wouldn't give him my name or let him talk to my wife. I told him I would counter-sue and demanded to speak to a supervisor. He said if I wouldn't give him my name he wouldn't let me talk to anyone, he was starting legal action immediately, and wished me good luck before hanging up on me.

I received a call from this number claiming they are Dept of Legal Affairs. They said they are calling on behalf of the US Treasury. He said I will get arrested for not paying my taxes for year 2012.
