I returned this phone call after seeing it on the reader ID. A live person picked up and stated "GNRG Solar." I hung up but did a search on them. They look like a start-up solar company. They have a storefront in Van Nuys with no storefront sign (which costs upwards of $5k), but they have some door panels on the doors stating "GNRG Solar." The website is http://gnrgsolar.com/  but the website looks like it could have been put up in a couple of hours. I checked their parent company, NV Construction, and they're registered with BBB with a good rating so far.  So your guess is as good as mine whether this is a legit company or not.

Are you wondering why I took the time to do this kind of research? We're looking into solar and I am sick and tired of the solar scammers out there!!!!!

Thanks for doing the research. I received a call about an hour ago, but I was on the other line.  I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up.

I called back the number on caller I.D. mainly to tell them to stop calling and received the recording that it's a bad number.  With that said, any company that uses a bogus number in my mind are also the crooks they probably are.
Sorry!  Deal with a number of these illegitimate callers weekly.
