They call me everyday and never leave a voicemail.

My phone answering system now has several years of ligitimate phone calls in its database.   So when:
1.  a new number calls like this one, which is not in my data base.
2.  indicates its likely status of scam,  or phishing call,  by not leaving message on the answering machine
- - it is amost 100% confirmation that such call is to be ignored.
I follow the training given to federal agents who are trained to spot counterfeit currency - - i.e. they study a bona fide bill very closely,  in order more quickly be able to spot a counterfeit bill.

Id says "local ranking" with all lowercase letters.

This is a credit card sales company offering preapproved cards at high rates.
