These people called my Android cell phone and I use Extreme Call Blocker from Grey Thinker on the Google Play Store. I have it setup to hang up and block my voice mail from any caller whose not in my Contacts list. It makes my cell phone private.
I always come here to 800 Notes to look up any number who calls me that gets put in the block log. After seeing what other posters have said about 8176019608 I'm glad they were hung up on and blocked from my voice mail automatically. I owe absolutely no one any outstanding unpaid debts, so this was definitely a scammer!
It's sad that these type of crooks invade our privacy via our cell phones and home phones and the only way to take charge of it is using software on our cell phones and call blocker units on our home phones. In the near future home phone units will be available to use software to control callers the way cell phones do now. Their in development right now! The Do Not Call list doesn't work on crooks and crooks use it like a phone book of good numbers to call so they don't waste their time calling dead numbers.
Be proactive and investigate your options for cell phone and home phone call blocking. Take charge and keep these crooks out of your life and your family's life! They will never go away, but you can block alot of them and continue blocking more of their numbers until they get tired of spoofing new numbers trying to reach you...
