They call everyday!!! I won't answer and when the answering machine kicks on they disconnect
There are the initials QVD on the caller ID

They call and hangup as soon as the answering machine goes on.

Thank you Jackee for telling me they call every day.  I Just received my first call from them and immediately blocked their number which hopefully will solve the daily harassment from this party.

Monday 9/08 @8:09 AM: Phone rang where I was (in the bathroom, of course: to wash my hands) but without caller ID there, I didn't pick up; answering machine on but no message left, & when I got out to the phone which has caller ID, I saw this phone number (815-975-3321) & "QVD".  So, these letters stand for what?  First thought: home shopping network, but that's QVC.  I just looked up a similar query about call from 312 area code & many comments there mentioned radio listening survey (& even getting paid to listen...??)  For the most part, seems calls are computer generated (as many political, organizational fund-raising companies' & telemarketers' are these days) and sometimes when you do answer, it either takes awhile for someone on the calling end to respond or it disconnects "thinking" an answering machine took the call???  I don't really know if this is the case here, but it fits the general profile; I found it enlightening to Google: QVD & this number, checking other info there.  Hope this is helpful.

Started getting at least 2 calls per day last week from this #  - QVD reported on caller ID. Blocked the # today so hopefully no more.
