A guy called from this # and immediately asked me how I was.  My standard reply to callers like this is, "Too busy to deal with calls that aren't directly related to our company's business."  The guy got all flustered and asked to speak to one of our presidents (by name).  I asked what the call was regarding and he told me he was with UPS and that he was calling regarding a package for Mr. X.  I already didn't believe that he was with UPS or calling about a package for Mr. X, so I told him I'd transfer him to our Receiving Dept. to discuss any incoming deliveries from UPS.  He faltered a bit but said OK.  After he was on hold less than 10 seconds, he hung up (of course).

some scummy debt collector called from this number at 12:57 AM, asking for someone who doesn't work here and then demanding "what Company is this" in hi foreign accent.
Exactly 2 minutes later, he calls again from a DIFFERENT number in an entirely DIFFERENT State of New Jersey (856-204-0652), and the first thing out of his mouth is "What Company is this?"
Disconnected him both times.
So in a 2 minute span, this Caller (further research on google identifies this number as Collection Agency of one Bank or another) can jump from Illinois to NewJersey, trying to pretend he's someone entirely different even though the identical same voice with the identical same accent asks the identical same Question in the identical same Tone of Voice.
What's up with that?

I work at a college institution!!!!!
A man by the name of Sean or Shaun keeps calling our Reception. Asking for names of people that are NOT employed and becomes irate when he is told this. Accuses our Reception of not looking up the name, rudely asks the name of the one answering the phone. Continues to CALL and harass Reception.
He will not give his full name and contact information at all...finally he hangs up.

1-815-695-7849 is the number on the caller ID.

My phone shows this number: (815) 695-7849 IL, USA.  The guy asked me 'do u remember Shawn.... ' then hang up. What the hell is him???

This number called my office line (I work at a university in Canada) Friday after business hours but didn't leave a message. Called again just a few minutes ago (Monday at about 10:15AM EDT), but I didn't pick up.

In fact, I no longer answer the phone when I see an 8-- # come up, as I know it's bound to be spam/fraud. (I had a lot of calls from another 8-- number last week, again on my work line, extremely annoying.)

Just got a call from that number 815-695-7849 at work. I work for the federal goverment in Canada.... he said my name and I replied yes and then he hung up...
