This guy goes from Brian Mulligan and preys on people on craigslist to sell his baseball cards.  He told me he had a bunch of nice older cards and send me about 4-8 scans of them.  He had a whole back story about how he lived in Tinley Park, Illinois during the weekend with his fiance and 4 kids (bunch of bull) and worked as a union worker at 746 Parkway Ave in Indianapols Indiana during the week.  I send him $460 cash and even after getting the package through fedex confirmation he said he never got it and stopped answering phone calls and e-mails after a week. AKA DON'T TRUST BRIAN MULLIGAN OF TINLEY PARK, IL FOR ANYTHING.  HE'LL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY

Pete,

Did you get any resolution on this?  We have purchased some event tickets from a person using the same name and number and he is failing to reply now to calls or emails.  Was excellent at answering before, so I believe we have been scammed now as well.

Not at all.  Now he's threatening me to take me to court.  Best part is he lied about the cards he was selling me and I keep telling him "Just talk to me once on this phone number and everything will get worked out".  He won't.  Did he give you his Tinley Park, IL address or Indianapolis Indiana address?  He erased 3 other people's writing on another site talking about how they ripped him off for $750 for a pinball machine he never delivered.  I'm out $470.  What e-mail address did he e-mail you from?  Was it through craigslist?

Pete,

Sorry, didn't check back for your note.  I'm sure it's the same guy.  He used the same exact phone number.  Email was mulliganirishman1979@yahoo.com the whole time.  He got me for $824.  I'm willing to spend 5 times that to find him and get him locked up.  Yes, it was through craigslist.  I am starting the process with local law enforcement, I'm sure they would like to get ahold of you.  Can you send me your contact details at surber858@gmail.com when you have a chance?

Thanks,
Andy Surber

There is currently a detective from Indianapolis looking into pursuing criminal action against Brian Mulligan.  If you've been scammed by this guy e-mail me at gopherz22@yahoo.com  and I'll give you the details on how to contact the detective.  I've personally talked to 3+ people who've lost money to this guy.  Let's get together and get him locked up.
