I answer and get an automated message.  Press one to talk to a human.  On hold for a little over three minutes.  Human identifies the business as Warrantee Services.  I ask what city they are based in.  They say they are a national service but will not say where their office is.  They say something about transferring me and hang up.

I find it remarkable they are so rude.  I expect snake oil sales to be handled in a far more courteous manner, but what do I know.

Called today and got my answering machine but did not leave a message.

My parents got a call from this number...their understanding of English is not that good so they asked me to call the number back. When I did, the number was not in service. Apparently they were called twice and the second time, they were told that the warranty on their car is going to expire and that this is their last warning. Now they are all concerned about it.  Who the heck are these people and why do they have the right to call?  The day before, I added their number to the Do Not Call List for Telemarketers and then this happens. Wow!

Automated message discussing how one's vehicle warranty has ended and how one can pursue to extend the warranty for their vehicle with theirs.  Apparently it is a number called from the Chicago Metropolitan area.  Seems like a scam.  Pressed "2" to remove my number from the list.

I am pretty sure these people are operatin illegaly in Canada. They do not answer question about their company and service. They also call back after saying they are oging to put you on their do not call list.

If only I knew how and where to report them.
