left a message stating from the us treasurey and we were in trouble

Message stating that caller was from u.s. Treasury. Action in the form of fines or court would be taken if we didn't respond.

This is yet another number that I've received threatening messages from. They are all the same message. Enforcement agency...federal criminal offense...US Treasury...
I finally had it and called this number back. A man with heavy middle eastern accent informed me that I have not paid my taxes in full, and that there would be criminal charges.
I informed him that he was full of it and that I've been receiving numerous similar messages from various numbers and that I will be reporting each number to the police. Funny, somehow we got disconnected...

Same message as others have posted.  I have to believe if it was truly the US Treasury it would be from an 800 number and also include the IRS website given the accusation that taxes haven't been paid.

Received the same message as the others mention - does the caller think that people are actually going to fall for this.  My message was on the home message machine and it itself repeated three times before the message machine cut off. I did try to call back and just got a busy signal.
