Caller was male, with a thick Indian accent. We've been plagued by scam calls for months, all of the callers with Indian accents (99% of them "debt consolidation", 1 was the Microsoft scam) so as soon as he said, "Hello Mrs. *lastname*" I interrupted with "Name and address of your company, please." He immediately hung up on me.
If it was a call from a legit company, he would have had no issue giving me the information. So it's probably the same old scam, under a new fake number. Don't give them any of your info. Just ask for the name and address of the company and hopefully they'll hang up on you too.
